Freedom Music Studios Core Values 2. Respect

Our next Core Value is an important value in any relationship. Respect is the only way to treat or think about those in our Freedom Family.  Our staff are educated to respect each other and to educate their students to do the same. Everyone must be given a chance to learn and grow together. We show respect by being polite and kind. Respect is listening to others even if there perspective is different to ours and providing a safe space for them to express themselves. We show courtesy to students and performers and a willingness to consider other points of view.

SINGER SPOTLIGHT BRODIE EAGER

I have been part of the Freedom Family since Mid 2019.

My top 3 singing achievements in 2019?
1. Performing with Keavin at the Christmas Soiree
2. Solo performance at the November Sunday Session
3. Performing solo at my school’s talent show.

Favourite singer? Ed Sheeran

What is your favourite song? Galway Girl.

What do you hope to achieve in 2020?

In 2020 I hope to improve my vocal range and performance skills.

Billie Eilish isn’t the “Bad Guy”

Billie Eilish smashed the Triple J Hottest 100 being the youngest act and first-ever solo female artist to hit number one in the Hottest 100 history. She had a phenomenal five songs in the nationwide countdown and her winning track had over 3 million votes. This tops off her great success in Australia with her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? being the highest-selling album in 2019.

Only two days later, she went to perform and win 5 Grammy Awards best new artist, best pop vocal album, the record of the year, the album of the year and song of the year.

We know many of our students love Billie Eilish and with this success, hope all of the Freedom Music Family are inspired to follow their own musical goals.

PRACTICE YOUR PASSION FOR PERFORMANCE ON STAGE

As we watched the Grammys it was quite extraordinary to see how many artists included their family on stage or in performance – so similar to our Freedom Music Studios Christmas Soiree! We certainly shed a tear at the love shared in such a global platform.  Tyler the Creator, a deeply personal celebrity had his mother on stage when he won Best Rap Album. Ariana Grande’s date for the Grammys were her two parents.

Our family support is integral to overcoming nerves on stage and we encourage you to invite family and friends to be your audience when you perform on stage.

If you have already picked a song for the March Sunday Session, be sure to invite your family:
